Bursting with minerals, vitamins, protein, calcium... we could go on! The combination of super food spinach and cauliflower is cleverly disguised with the sweet smooth tastes of banana, orange and grapes. It's the perfect way to pack fruit and vegetables into your little one's diet, without them even knowing!
SMOOTHIE INGREDIENTS
(makes 1 serving)
Banana, ripe, ⅓
Cauliflower florets, steamed, ½ cup
Green grapes, a handful
Baby spinach, a handful
Chia seeds, 1 tsp
Orange juice, ½ cup
Almond milk, ¼ cup
METHOD
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
Pour into a cup, optionally decorate with a sprinkle of chia seeds, serve right away.
PUREÉ INGREDIENTS
(makes 1 serving)
Banana, ripe, ⅓
Cauliflower florets, steamed, ½ cup
Green grapes, a handful
Baby spinach, a handful
Chia seeds, 1 tsp
(optional) Almond butter, 1 tsp
Orange juice, 2-3 tbsp
METHOD
Blend all ingredients with an immersion blender until smooth and creamy.
Transfer to a cup or bowl, top with pieces of banana and grapes and a sprinkle of chia seeds. Serve right away.
